Project Description
Dans Le Noir, or In the Dark, was a collaboration between UiTM Law Faculty’s internal club, Student Community Law Club (SCLC) and Malaysian Foundation for the Blind (MFB). With the determination from SCLC members, and the unfaltering support and guidance from MFB, UiTM Law Faculty was turned into a space that held 50 guests for a night of charity dinner and sharing session. The stories of Louis Braille, Prof Datuk Dr Ismail and Stevie Wonder were among the many that were portrayed at the Mini Gallery just outside the banquet hall. Indeed, the session by Mr. Silatul Rahman Dahman tearfully moved everyone. It was a night for us to understand that the world is a shared space, and it is our job to understand the community, and love one another. With this spirit, the event managed to gather an outstanding amount of donation, that was given to MFB at the end of the night. I am pleased to be working with such a sincere and passionate organisation. Hopefully, SCLC’s connection with MFB will not end here.
